How I can support you:
Educational Assessments
If you really want to help your child effectively overcome their academic challenges , then a learning assessment is exactly what you need. I hear from many parents that the school hardly gives any feedback on their learning progress or does not take academic difficulties seriously . This can be very frustrating for many parents.
Imagine being able to find out exactly where your child is at the moment. With a learning level analysis, you get a clear, detailed overview of your child's current learning level. Together, we can see where your child still needs some help - be it with reading, writing or arithmetic . This means that you work specifically on the areas that are really important so that your child can learn at their own pace and according to their needs. A learning level analysis is therefore the perfect starting point to offer your child the best possible support.
*As a learning therapist, I cannot diagnose dyslexia or dyscalculia, but I can give your an indication if your child may need further tests and support you with these further steps.
The 4 steps:
1. You can arrange a free introductory meeting via Calendly (link below). Here we will discuss your concerns and what exactly you need to support your child in the best possible way. After the meeting, you can still decide whether you want the analysis. If you decide to do so, I will send you a questionnaire and a privacy policy.
2. Now it's your child's turn. The assessement takes place online or, if you live in Berlin, at your home. If it takes place online, I will send you the documents for the assessments by post or email. Please make sure that we can then work in peace. The learning assessment also includes games, exercise and breaks. I will make sure that your child feels comfortable. We may need 2-3 appointments for this.
3. Now I need about 1-2 weeks to evaluate everything and write the final report. When I'm finished, you'll get a message from me and we'll arrange the final meeting.
4. With an educational assessment, I offer you a detailed analysis of your child's current learning level, develop a tailor-made support plan and provide you with concrete exercise suggestions and materials. If I then have the capacity, I can continue to work 1-1 with your child.
Your investment: With the preparation and follow-up meetings and written evaluation, I need a total of 4-5 hours per subject. The current cost is €285 per subject or €500 for two subjects (Maths and German).
