Welcome- I´m so glad you are here

I’m Natasha – a mom, special education teacher, educational therapist (Lerntherapeutin), and author of a children´s book.

My passion is supporting children with learning difficulties so they can unlock their full potential.

Growing up in South Africa, I struggled in elementary school myself. Back then, I never imagined that learning could actually be enjoyable.

Over the past 10+ years as an educator, I’ve learned how important it is to believe in yourself. Children thrive when they discover their strengths and find the courage to keep going – even when things get tough. Parents play a key role in this journey, and I’m here to show you how to best support your child.

One of the core principles in my work is supporting children develop a Growth Mindset – the belief that abilities can grow through effort and practice. When children combine this mindset with confidence in their own strengths, they become braver and more resilient in facing challenges.

Through my years of experience as a special education teacher and in an elementary school in Berlin, I know how important it is to receive the right support early on. But even if the beginning has been difficult: it’s never too late for your child to experience a positive and relaxed school journey.

Take your time to look around – I’d love to connect with you!

Warmly,
Natasha

Belief in one's own ability to learn

Growth mindset is a way of thinking based on the belief that skills can be developed . It's the belief that one can grow, learn, and improve through effort.

People with a growth mindset see mistakes and challenges as opportunities to learn and develop , not as obstacles that hold them back.

In contrast, people with a fixed mindset believe that their abilities and intelligence are predetermined and cannot change. They may limit themselves by thinking they are "good" or "bad" at something, without seeing the possibility of improvement.

The Growth Mindset can help children improve their learning skills and achieve their goals .

You can read more about growth mindset in my blog.

"We booked a learning assessment with Natasha. She identified exactly where our daughter needed support, and we received helpful tips. Our daughter is now also getting 1-1 support from Natasha, and we're already seeing progress."
